    CMTI is a multi-disciplinary R&D Organisation in the area of Manufacturing Technology & related fields and is well equipped with latest facilities in CAD/CAM, Rapid Prototyping, CNC & FMS Technologies, High speed machining, etc.

    The current focus of the Institute is in the areas of Advanced Technologies like Precision Engineering, Micro & Nano Manufacturing, etc. The Institute is in the process of establishing state-of-the-art facilities in these thrust areas and is embarking upon Research projects with an Industry focus.

    The Institute is offering opportunities for young Engineering Diploma and Tradeship certificate holders as Technician and Tradeship Trainees to get an exposure in research-oriented activities.

    APPLICATION & ON LINE REGISTRATION : Interested candidates may log on to CMTI website – www.applytocmti.co.in for further details and for submission of online application. Before commencement of on line registration, the candidates are required to possess the valid e-mail Id which is to be compulsorily provided in the application. No correspondence or enquiries will be entertained from the candidates about the recruitment process. The Institute is not liable for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidates in this regard. However, necessary information will be posted on our website from time to time. The candidates may register their application online between 03.12.2009 to 14.12.2009. On successful completion of online registration / submission of application, the Candidates are required to write the Application Registration No. on the reverse side of the Demand Draft which shall be forwarded along with copy of the acknowledgement of online registration, a recent passport size photograph duly signed, duly super-scribing on the envelope “Application for the post of Technician Trainee / Tradeship Trainee”(delete which ever is not applicable) to : The Chief Administrative Officer, Central Manufacturing Technology Institute, Tumkur Road, Bangalore – 560022, so as to reach by 21.12.2009. For query if any, in this regard, should be addressed only to : recruitment@cmti-india.net. Incomplete applications are liable for rejection.

    General Instructions :
    a) Only Indian Nationals need apply.
    b) Reservation for OBC /SC / ST as per Govt. Rules. Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST Candidates.
    c) Mere fulfillment of requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate to be called for test/ interview.
    d) No correspondence will be entertained with candidates not called for the written test/ interview/ not selected for appointment.
    e) Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
    f) Only candidates who have completed their course in the minimum qualification specified above as on the date of advertisement are qualified to apply.
    g) Short listed Candidates shall be subjected to a written test and viva voce at Bangalore. No TA will be paid for attending Written Test / Interview.
    h) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
    i) Interim correspondence will not be entertained.
    j) Candidates who are working in Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Quasi-Government /Autonomous Organisation, if short listed for Written Test/ Interview should submit No Objection Certificate from their employer, without which they will not be allowed to attend the test/interview.
    k) No correspondence will be entertained with the candidates who are not short listed for written test/interview.
    l) Candidates are required to submit Original Documents/ Certificates as proof of the details furnished in their applications at the time of Written Test/ Interview for verification failing which they will not be allowed to appear for written test/interview.
