Applications are invited from the Male/Female citizens of India for 49(Forty Nine) post of Inspector/GD, 21 (Twenty One) post of Sub Inspector/GD(Male), 01(One) post of Head Constable/GD(Male) and 214 (Two Hundred Fourteen) posts of Constable/GD(Male) and 12(Twelve) post of CT(Female) in CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE against sports quota.

Total : 297 vacancies.

PAY SCALE
Inspector(GD) : Pay band Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs. 4600 & other allowances admissible from time to time.
Sub Inspector(GD) : Pay band Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs. 4200 & other allowances admissible from time to time.
Head Constable : Rs. 5200-20200 plus grade pay of Rs. 2400 and other allowances admissible from time to time.
Constable : Rs.5200-20200 plus grade pay of Rs. 2000 and other allowances admissible from time to time.

AGE LIMIT
Inspector & Sub Inspector (GD) : Between 20 to 25 years as on 01.12.2009
Head Constable & Constable (GD) : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.12.2009

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Inspector & Sub Inspector(GD):Minimum Graduation from a recognized University.
Head Constable(GD) :Minimum10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board
Constable(GD) : Minimum Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board

Applications in the prescribed format at Appendix “A” either by type written or neatly hand written on one side only of full scape plain paper with passport size photographs affixing on application be sent super scribing on envelop in bold letter “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT IN CRPF AGAISNT SPORTS QUOTA” only to

so as to reach not later than 20/12/2009 or within 30 days after publication of advertisement in employment through REGISTERED post only

SELECTION PROCESS
- Admit card with Roll Number and General instruction for appearing for test/interview will be issued to the eligible candidates only after a preliminary screening of the bonafide/sports proficiency of each applicant.
- Only meritorious sportsmen/women fulfilling all the QRs given in para (3) to (8) will be called for TRIALS at places selected by CRPF. However, firm date and venue for conducting trial/test will be intimated to eligible candidates only after scrutinizing their sports achievements.
- No TA/DA will be admissible .
- Incomplete and without date application will be summarily rejected and no correspondence on this will be entertained. Application received after 30 days or 45 days, as the case may be, after publication of this advertisement in Employment News shall ot be entertained.
- Late receipt of application due to postal delay will not be entertained.
