Steganography is the art of hiding information in ways that prevent the detection of hidden messages. Steganography is often confused with cryptology because the two are similar in the way that they both are used to protect important information.
The difference between the two is that Steganography involves hiding information so it appears that no information is hidden at all.
The most common use of Steganography is to hide a file inside another file. When information or a file is hidden inside a carrier file, the data is usually encrypted with a password.

TITLE : “CCD BASED HOME SECURITY SYSTEM”
DESCRIPTION :
A 5 digit unique no. is entered into microcontroller by entering the keypad by the user. If this 5 digits no. is matched by the no. which is stored in the microcontroller chip. Then the security door opens. As soon as the user enters the security door the user is interrupted by an infrared radiation which is turn closes the door. That means only authorized personal is allowed to enter. If 5 digit codes is not matched for three consecutive entering then a buzzer alarms the security personal.
