Job Description:

Skills:

5-8 years experience in DataStage 7.5 or higher ETL suite (DataStage, MetaStage, Parallel Extender, Quality Manager, etc.), monitoring/tuning/performance management.

3-5 years experience with design, management, monitoring of batch loading processes, including scripting/cron/etc.

1-3 years experience with DataStage PACKs (Siebel, PeopleSoft, etc.).

3-5 years experience with Oracle on Sun Solaris and/or AIX platforms preferred.

3-5 years experience with Oracle and DB2/6000 databases preferred.

1-3 years experience with Data Modeling Tools (ERwin) is preferred.

Full understanding of Data Warehouse project lifecycle is desired.

Knowledge of MicroStrategy and/or Crystal Enterprise reporting suites is a plus.

Ability to work with international teams. Should have excellent communication.


Senior level ETL architect to drive and improve ETL standards, business/technical rule requirements, source-to-target mapping process, own ETL architecture, develop/communicate ETL strategy, manage consolidation/performance tuning efforts, validate/approve vendor ETL work, etc. Focused on Information Delivery / Business Intelligence implementations

Job Profile:

Develop, document, publish, communicate, and train development resources on ETL design and development standards

Develop, document, publish, communicate, and train development resources on ETL best practices for high performing and easy to maintain ETL processes and jobs
Own ETL architecture and capacity planning

Develop, document, publish, communicate, and train development resources on performance management for ETL (Configuration Management, Monitoring / Tuning Practice, Scheduling)

Involved in all Information Delivery projects to train development resources on all aspects of ETL Architecture at the organization, assure compliance with architecture standards, design reviews, testing methodology

Work closely with Data Modeling, Database, and Reporting architects

Work closely with EAI (webMethods) architects to source data warehouse data from EAI hub when possible
