Project Title : AUTOMATIC PLANT IRRIGATION AT DUSK AND DRY
SURFACE

Description : The project design makes use of 8051 micro controller for interfacing
of to various hardware interfaces. Technology today is seeing its heights in all the area of embedded systems. The project design uses a mechanical arrangement for watering the plants automatically. The wetness and dryness of the soil is also found automatically by making use of variations of resistance across the copper windings. This is given as input to microcontroller and accordingly watering is done to the plants through the mechanical arrangement. This provides you and automated system for doing so, i.e., we need not take care of that daily

MY ROLE : Involved in circuit design and simulate the process of working.
The circuit comprises sensor parts built using op-amp ICLM358.Op- amps are configured as comparator. Two stiff copper wires are inserted in the soil to sense whether the soil is wet or dry. The Micro-controller (AT89C51) was used to control the whole software, it monitors the sensors and when more than two sensors sense the dry condition then the Micro-controller will switch on the motor and it mill switch off the motor when all the sensors are in wet
