1.(Ref.No.F.1/242/2009-R-II) Seven Botanists in Botanical Survey of India, Ministry of Environment & Forests.
Out of seven posts, one post each is reserved for ST & OBC candidates. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : i) M.Sc Degree in Botany of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Experinece of Research in Taxonomy including Cytotaxonomy of any of the following branches of Botany : 1) Algae 2) Fungi 3) Bryophytes/Pterodophytes 4) Angiosperms/Gymnospers(as evidenced by publications). iii) Experience of plant collection in the field. Desirable : Knowledge of anyone or more of the following. Latin, German, French & Russian. Duties : To identify plants. To prepare proper scientific reports on field or herbarium specimens. To undertake field excursions. To supervise the work of Scientific Asstt./Technical Assistants. HQ : Liable to serve anywhere in India including Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
2.(Ref.No.F.1/227/2009-R-IV) One Junior Interpreter(Arabic) in the Interpreters’ Cadre of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The post is reserved for OBC candidates. The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped{Visual Disability[Blindness or Low Vision(High power glasses-Better eye:6/18-6/36, Worse eye : 6/60-nil, Percentage : 40%)] OR Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability (with locomotor disability having impairment about 50%-one upper limb or one lower limb)}candidates. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : A- Master’s degree in the Arabic language with English as a compulsory/Elective subject at degree level from a recognized University or equivalent. OR B- i) A degree in the Arabic language with English as a compulsory/ Elective subject from a recognized University or equivalent ; and ii) Two years’ experience as a Translator/Interpreter in the Arabic language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching the Arabic language. OR C- i) Bachelor’s degree with English as a compulsory/Elective subject from a recognized University or equivalent; and ii) A diploma equivalent to Interpretership standard in the Arabic language from a recognized University or equivalent ; and iii) Three years’ experience as a Translator/Interpreter in the Arabic language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching the Arabic language. Duties : Interpretation from English/Hindi to the concerned language and vice-versa. Any Other Conditions : i) During the period of probation, the persons appointed shall be required proficiency in Hindi equivalent to Matriculation or the Pragya Examination conducted under the Hindi Teaching Scheme of the Central Government. ii) Job requires extensive touring.
3.(Ref.No.F.1/228/2009-R-IV)One Junior Interpreter(Chinese) in the Interpreters’ Cadre of the Ministry of External Affairs. 4.(Ref.No.F.1/225/2009-R-IV)One Junior Interpreter(German) in the Interpreters’ Cadre of the Ministry of External Affairs. 5.(Ref.No.F.1/226/2009-R-IV)One Junior Interpreter(Persian) in the Interpreters’ Cadre of the Ministry of External Affairs. The post is UR but is to be filled by Physically Handicapped{Visual Disability[Blindness or Low Vision(High power glasses-Better eye:6/18-6/36, Worse eye : 6/60-nil, Percentage : 40%)] OR Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability (with locomotor disability having impairment about 50%-one upper limb or one lower limb)}candidates belonging to any Community. Qualifications : Essential : Educational : A- Master’s degree in the Persian language with English as a compulsory/Elective subject at degree level from a recognized University or equivalent. OR B- i) A degree in the Persian language with English as a compulsory/ Elective subject from a recognized University or equivalent ; and ii) Two years’ experience as a Translator/Interpreter in the Persian language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching the Persian language. OR C- i) Bachelor’s degree with English as a compulsory/Elective subject from a recognized University or equivalent; and ii) A diploma equivalent to Interpretership standard in the Persian language from a recognized University or equivalent ; and iii) Three years’ experience as a Translator/Interpreter in the Persian language to English/Hindi and vice-versa or in teaching the Persian language. Duties & Any other conditions : Same as in Item No.2 above
6.(Ref.No.F.1/212/2009-R-III) One Training Officer, CIRTES, Noida, Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour & Employment. The post is reserved for OBC candiates. The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons (Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor Disability / Cerebral Palsy with One Leg / One Arm affected persons). Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Master’s degree in Psychology or in Education of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ experience in Vocational Guidance and Employment Counselling. Desirable : i) Experience in teaching. ii) Familiarity with the employment service. iii)Should have taken a paper in ‘Guidance ’ in Master’s degree Course in Psychology or in Education or Diploma in Guidance. Duties : To organize and impart training to Key-personnel(career masters, teacher counselors, Vocational Guidance officers etc.) in techniques of career advising. To assist and advise States in Organising training in Vocational Guidance and career advising. To co-ordiante with NCERT and other agencies in the training programme. To organize training seminars and workshops for such personnel with the active participation of concerned agencies(NCERT, State Institutes, Bureaus of Educational and Vocational Guidance).
7.(Ref.No.F.1/236/2009-R-VI) Two Senior Assistant Controllers of Mines in Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Five years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in metalliferous mines or in a Govt. Department dealing with metalliferious mines. Desirable : i) Post Graduate degree in Mining Engineering from a recongized University or equivalent. ii) working knowledge of computers with special emphasis on commonly used software in offices. Duties : Inspection of Mines for systematic development of mines, conservation of minerals and protection of Mines environment under the Mines and Minerals(Development and Regulations) Act, 1957 and rules made there under and dealing with matters arising out of it.

4.AGE LIMIT AS ON NORMAL CLOSING DATE :
a) Not exceeding 40 years for the posts at S. No. 7
b) Not exceeding 38 years for the posts at S. Nos.2 & 6
c) Not exceeding 35 years for the posts at S. Nos.3,4 &5
d) Not exceeding 30 years for the posts at S.No.1
N.B. The age limit shown against S. Nos.2 &6 is relaxed age limit for OBC candidates. The age limit shown against all other S.Nos. is normal age limit and only in these cases age is relaxable for ST candidates upto 5 years & upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
