Description : Artificial neural networks (ANNs) are a form of artificial Intelligence, which have proven useful in different areas of application, such as pattern recognition and function approximation / prediction. The most popular Neural Network is the multi-layer perceptron trained using the error back propagation algorithm. Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are a medium that ca be used for reconfigurable computing and offer flexibility in design like software but with performance speeds closer to custom ASIC boards.
