    South Western Railway and West Central Railway invite applications for Group ‘C’ posts against Sports Quota.
    SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY
    Employment Notice No.02/ 2009-10 (Scouts & Guides)
    RECRUITMENT AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA IN GROUP "C"

    Closing date: 30.11.2009
    AGE: 18-30 Years as on 01-01-2010

    Educational Qualifications:
    Matriculation or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate

    Scouts and Guides Qualifications:
    A President’s Scouts/Guides/Rovers/Rangers (OR) Himalayan Wood
    Badge Holder (OR) A Pre HWB Training Scout leader/Advanced
    Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain

    HOW TO APPLY:

    Application as per the format given below shall be submitted on A-4 size good quality paper. The application format should be in English/Hindi language only and the application should be filled in English/Hindi language only. The applications submitted in other than English/Hindi languages will be summarily rejected.

    The application should be filled in by the candidate in his/her own handwriting and signed. The candidate has to affix one recent passport size photograph (recently taken and in scout uniform) duly attested by a Gazetted Officer on the application in the space provided for the purpose. Candidate is also required to attach one extra passport size photograph along with the application.

    EXAMINATION FEE:
    The candidates have to send a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Demand Draft for Rs.40/- drawn in favour of FA & CAO, South Western Railway, Hubli and payable at Hubli..

    WHOM TO APPLY:
    Applications complete in all respects should be sent in a cover super scribed as “Application for Group ‘C’ post against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2009-10” and to be addressed to

    The application should reach on or before 30.11.2009.

    RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
    The recruitment will be based on written test and interview. The candidates, whose applications are found eligible in all respects, will be assessed on the following basis.

    The eligible candidates will be called for written test and those who qualify in written test will be called for viva-voce.

    Job Summary
