Job Title : Finance Manager
Experience : 8 – 14 yrs
Location : Chennai
Salary : Neg

Role Summary A key role within the organisation with both an internal and external focus. Internally, responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts for the company, analysing and forecasting period and annual performance, identifying and highlighting issues and trends as they arise and taking appropriate action to address, providing financial information and support to the management team, undertaking contract compliance activities from a financial viewpoint. Providing central support and additional analysis as required. Externally responsible for building effective relationships with funders / customers to help understand and resolve any funding issues and anticipate any changes which will impact the company.

Person Specification

Qualifications Required
The post holder must hold a GradCWA or an ACA

Experience Required
Experience of producing management accounts and associated reports for senior management, interpreting performance and explaining trends
Experience of monitoring performance and designing and implementing effective controls to highlight issues in a timely manner
Experience of developing and maintaining effective external relationships with funders / customers
Experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal customers
Experience of working with managers to develop financial models to support tender bids and business case submissions, providing challenge to operational assumptions to ensure that the financial analysis is robust and commercially viable
Experience of managing and implementing system developments and improvement initiatives
Experience of implementing and managing change
Experience of managing, motivating and developing a remote team, including setting and monitoring objectives and implementing training development plans

Skills & Abilities Required
An ability to manage own time and work to strict deadlines
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent analytical skills
An ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal
An ability to work effectively as a member of the senior management team and the ability to contribute to the development of the division
