Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata has been established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The Institute is looking for dedicated and committed candidates to fill up the following vacancies.

1. Project Engineer-cum-Estate Officer - 1 post
Scale of pay: PB-3, Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- with GP Rs. 6,600/-
Qualification and experience: Degree in Civil Engineering (preferable 1st class) with a minimum total experience of 7 years of which at least 4 years should have been as an Assistant Engineer. Experience must be in the area of Civil Engineering design and estimation, construction management, maintenance of buildings, road and drainage systems and handling of major civil project works.

2. Assistant Registrar (Admin/Academics) - 1 post
Scale of pay: PB-3, Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- with GP Rs. 5,400/-
Qualification and experience: A Post graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. Minimum 8 years of experience, out of which 5 years should be in supervisory capacity, in Administration/Academic/Examination Branch in Scientific Organisations / Universities / Technological Institutes. Experience in computer systems & applications, office automation will be preferred.

3. Assistant Registrar (Finance) - 1 post
Scale of pay: PB-3, Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- with GP Rs. 5,400/-
Qualification and experience: A Post graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with specialization in Finance/Accounts or ICWA/CA/MBA (Finance)/MIS. Minimum 8 years of experience, out of which 5 ears should be in supervisory capacity, in Accounts/Finance/Audit Branch in Scientific Organisations/Universities/Technological Institutes. Experience/Exposure to computer based Accounting and Audit will be preferred.
