Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navaratna Status Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Defence is a premier Aeronautical Industry of South East Asia with 19 Production/ Overhaul/ Service Divisions and 9 co-located R & D Centers spread across the Country.

HAL, Hyderabad is inviting applications for the following posts :
Diploma Trainee
Technician Trainee
Admin Assistant Trainee
Lab Technician Trainee
Pharmacist Trainee
Warranty Technicians on Contract

APPLICATION FEE:
Rs 100/- which is non-refundable (exempted in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates), drawn on any Nationalized Bank(preferably on State Bank of India) in the form of demand draft in favour of “HAL, Hyderabad”, payable
at Hyderabad is to be attached alongwith the application format. The demand draft should have been obtained between the period 25.09.2009 to 30.11.2009.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test. Instructions regarding examination will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates individually. Admit Cards will be sent to the shortlisted candidates by
post on their local mailing address only.Written Test will be held at Hyderabad only. Candidates shortlisted based on the performance in the Written Test will be called for Practical Test (as applicable) and thereafter
based on the performance in the Practical Test, candidates would be called for Interview. The candidates will have to make their own arrangements for attending the Test and no Travelling Allowance will be paid.

However, the candidates attending for Personal Interview will be paid the Travelling Allowance as per rules of the Company. Candidates shortlisted for Interview are required to bring the certificates/documents (original and attested photocopies) in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Training, Caste, Disability (As applicable), Discharge Book (in respect of Ex-serviceman), Employment Exchange Registration card etc and
passport size photographs at the time of Interview.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
i. Only Indian Nationals need apply. Mere submission of application will not entail right for claiming appointment.
ii. Age and Experience are to be counted as on 01.09.2009.
iii. Candidates belonging to OBC category are required to submit the OBC certificate in the prescribed format enclosed at Appendix-A and candidates belonging to SC/ST category are required to submit the SC/ST certificate in the prescribed format enclosed at Appendix-B.
iv. Before applying the candidates should satisfy themselves regarding eligibility criteria desired for the post.
v. Only short listed candidates (based on the percentage of marks scored in the qualifying examination as stated above) will be called for the selection process.
vi. Appearance of the shortlisted candidates in the Written Test is provisional and it does not entitle them for any claim for the post. They will be treated as debarred ab- initio at any stage of the recruitment process , in case they do not fulfill the essential eligibility criteria.
vii. Applicants serving in Government/Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should produce NOC at the time of Interview
viii. Appointments of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Reports from the HAL Medical Officer as per the standards prescribed by HAL as well as verification of Character and
Antecedents and caste from the concerned authorities, as per rules of the Company.
ix. Applications received in any format other than prescribed Applications Format, received after due date and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
x. HAL takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or loss in postal transit of any applications or communication.
xi. HAL reserves the right to raise the eligibility criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test/Interview and also fill up the posts or alter the number of posts or even cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reason.
xii. Canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence will be a disqualification.
xiii. Ex Apprentices of HAL Hyderabad are also required to apply directly at the address given below. No separate communication would be given to them.
xiv. Necessary information regarding the selection, Written Test etc. will be hosted on our Website www.hal-india.com from time to time.

You guys are better of working for your nearby cycle repair shop than to work for HAL and waste our tax payers money.

Advantages of working in a cycle repair shop

1. You get better experience in handing screw drivers and spanners than at HAL.
2. You can make something run and get a satisfaction to see it work, which never happens in HAL.
3. You can be patriotic and do a favor to the armed forces by working for a bicycle repair shop unlike in HAL where you may end up building a flying coffin and kill our own soldiers.
4. You can learn something new every now and then at cycle repair shop unlike in HAL where the only thing you learn is licking the boots of Govt Babus!.
