Material Receiving and Storage :
Performing receiving material inspection of coating and insulation consumable materials and recording the same.
Performing periodical inspection of coating materials in stock and ensure the temperature and humidity of the paint storage are within the range.
Verification of the coating system to be applied with the project specification.
Verifying the abrasive before every use to ensure the quality of it.
Making arrangements for necessary material verification and traceability, of painting/coating materials and availability of batch and test certificates.
Responsible for monitoring the stock activity of warehouse & ensuring the implementation of quality control regularly.

Blasting & Coating :
Assessing pre-blast and post blast condition of pipe prior to painting application and perform surface preparation inspection in according with the SSPC standards.
Recording the climatic conditions on every interval of 4 hours during the surface preparation and coating.
Coordination with crew supervisor, applicators and sand blasters as per client specification / standards.
Duties included advising the project painting supervisors on the coating system and the application of the coatings, advising the client.
About different types of coating systems for the project and monitoring the mixing application in accordance with the project quality assurance standards.
Recording the climatic conditions dry film thickness, wet-film thickness, and other activities as mentioned in inspection test plan.
Coordination with the painting group, raise RFI and arrange inspection for various coating applications with the client and the subcontractor.

Periodic inspection of testing equipment’s calibration and maintained the updated log.
Record site condition like relative humidity (RH), dew point, dry film thickness (DFT), wet-film thickness (WFT), holiday detection, chloride test and other action as detailed in inspection test plan.
Monitoring blasting and painting activities at the yard and site include the inspection of various approved protective coatings on piping spools, structures, internal and external coatings of various sizes of pipes.
Blotter test-ensure of the quality of air for identification of moisture or oil contamination in compressed air.
Identification of moisture contamination on concrete structure with clear plastic sheet method.
Verification of surface preparation meeting the requirements by using profile check using profile gauge/testex replica tape.
Paint curing tests (MEK) cure of in organic zinc silicate as per specification.
Coordinating with client inspection as per the project specifications, standards, ITP and quality plan.
In process inspection to assure clients that all specified aspects of a coating process are properly completed. Inspections typically include all quality aspects of a project from ambient condition, surface preparation and application through to final acceptance of the project.
