DESCRIPTION :
In our project involved design and fabrication of FLAT BELT PULLEY using Rapid Prototype Machine (RPT).
Use of conventional pattern usually made of wood. If foregone instead of which pattern made up of RPT.
Using common thermoplastic material ABS (Acrilonytril butadiene styrene).
Our main objective is improving the overall quality (dimensional accuracy) of the pattern.

Title : Optimization of tribological parameters in electrodeposition of
COPPER, TIN&PTFE
DESCRIPTION :
A different approach to improve wears characteristics, high surface hardness and self-lubricating properties. High surface hardness and load carrying capacity can be achieved by copper, tin metal matrix and self-lubrication can be achieved by introduction of dry lubricant in a metal matrix. Polymers especially PTFE with their non-stick properties are also used for dry lubrication. For bearing applications the electro deposited coatings must possess high hardness, high ultimate tensile strength and low coefficient of friction. So Cu, Sn along with PTFE will provide an excellent load carrying capacity and solid lubrication. For obtaining better tribological performance, optimum values of percentage of Cu, Sn and PTFE content in the composite coating was determined using genetic algorithm (GA).
