DESCRIPTION :
The need to improve the performance of compressor by several methods. Such as designs shape and construction are known and screw type compressor is the latest design as on date. The power required to compressor air to a known pressure is given in the attached tables. One cubic root of air equals approximately 28 liters its volume we brought of a novel idea to design the triangular compressor as per the attached sketches or diagrams with this.
It is three cylinder compressor placed radially equally apart such that the cylinder openings tend to meet on a common triangular compression chamber that has one inlet and outlet value to a tank for receiving air in the compressed state. As an example let us take a 100cc displacement single single cylinder compression, e.g. that will have a bore of 50 mm and stroke 50mm.

Project Title : performance and testing characteristics of diesel engine ( Under Prof Bikash Ghosal )
Abstract :This project performed by a team of students assembled for getting best out of technology That is available at the institution. The diesel engine used for above mentioned project is a kirloskar made water cooled, vertical, four stroke cycle, single cylinder with 5 H.P engine with a load testing rigid set up of varying loads.
In this project my part is to describe the different parts of diesel engine like – cylinder block, cylinder head, piston, connecting rod, crank pin, crank shaft, cam shaft, inlet and outlet valve and Flywheel and how it works on a diesel engine.
Engine Specification :Type-av1, rpm-1500, 5kw, sfc-245 gm/kwh, fuel oil-HS diesel, lubricant-SAE 30/SAE. Plotting various graph and explanations done in this respect variation of A/F ratio, Brake power, Brake Thermal efficiency, Volumetric efficiency, Rpm, Fuel consumption.

Conclusion :-
1.-The brake power increase with the increase of volumetric efficiency.
2.-Stoichiometric brake thermal efficiency is highest at slightly lean air-fuel ratio. Ratio for diesel fuel is 27 :1. Below this air fuel ratio, the efficiency is less due to insufficient oxygen supply.
3.-Brake power increases with more diesel supply
