Job Description:
Job Purpose
•To ensure study and timely action of cost accounting and costing for the projects.
Key Result Areas
•Providing costing worksheet for projects based on either assembly costing or activity based costing methods.
•Timely completion of cost reports for the projects as well as company preparation of POC worksheets.

Key Responsibilities
•Calculating detailed cost analysis for assemblies, processes, activities and ultimately for the projects and submitting cost sheets to the project department as well as to the CFO.
•Analyzing variances every month v/s budgets and finding out the reason for the same.
•Rolling up of standard cost in the system every quarter and taking report or rolled up costs v/s actual costs.
•Supporting sales and marketing team in making quotation to the client based on detailed costing.
•Help in preparations of tenders and preparing competitive bids for quotation and liaisoning with the project controlling team and project department to give all sorts of costing and budgetary support.
•Working knowledge of Indian GAAP, SAP Fico module and reconciliation between FI and CO.
•Should have handled accounts closing in SAP environment and should have hands on experience working in SAP as a user.
•Maintaining CO module operations, monthly CO cycles for profitability, reporting calculating product cost, appropriation overheads, cost centre accounting, COPA cycles in SAP, MIS accounting, preparing budget and budgetary control.
•Hand on experience in costing and supporting cost realization programs.
•Keeping abreast of current best practices in costing.
•Good knowledge of Indian accounting standards and IFRS.

Desired Candidate Profile:
•Cost Accountant ICWA with 7 to 10 years post qualification experience in pure costing.
•Good communication skill and team player.
•Knowledge of SAP is necessary.
•Candidate having exposure to MNC culture will be added advantage
•Thorough knowledge of Project costing, Manufacturing & SAP FICO.
•Good at Planning & Decision Making.
