Job Description:

Skill Requirements:
1. Skills on simulation tools such as AVL cruise, Matlab, Simulink, Dymola
2. Japanese speaking skills

Job Responsibilities:
HEV power management - under various vehicle driving conditions to improve the vehicle performance in terms of fuel economy, safety and comfort requires a through and exhaustive of detailing of requirements as well as developing extensive test cases for an exhaustive testing of the control software
1. Understanding of the customer requirements with respect to control software requirements and further developing the requirements based on the domain knowledge
2. Development of test specification, test cases and exhaustive testing of the control software 3. Simulation and analysis of the vehicle (HEV) in various drive modes and evaluating the fuel economy related aspects

Relevant Experience Required:
1. 6-10 years experience in automotive systems
2. Specifically development, testing and simulation experience in automotive domain
3. Experience on some of the following topics expected : vehicle safety, dynamics, powertrain, transmission, brakes and also hybrid electric power management, diagnostics and fail safe
4. ECU knowledge and software development experience is essential 5. Simulation experience on fuel economy would be useful
6. In depth domain knowledge of automotive systems and sub-systems behaviour and their interaction is essential 7. Hands on vehicle and subsystems training at the customer site would be an added advantage
8. Knowledge on heavy duty Trucks preferred
