Job Description
1. Can work as a team player with minimal supervision
2. Establishes sheet layout & composition of drawing set
3. Able to create readable, professional, drawings
4. Conformance to office drafting standards - Knowledge of standard directory and file naming conventions, standard procedures for setting up drawing sheets of various types, layering standards etc.
5. Capable of coordination between views of the same area (Plans, Ceilings, Sections, Details, etc.) & capable of presentation graphics
6. Accuracy in dimensioning
7. Accuracy in the referencing of all details & sections
8. Able to accurately plot drawings
9. Issue of all plots, prints and shipping
10. Maintains submittals and records
11. Maintains project computer files
12. Ensures submittals were reviewed before issue
13. Researches new products
14. Contributes to the firmâs detail library

Desired Candidate Profile
1. Minimum B.Arch. Educational qualification with high energy, commitment & defined objectives
2. Minimum 1 years experience in an Architectural office for Architect level and 2 years experience for Senior Architect level
3. Ability to communicate
4. Asks questions and shows initiative in getting the job done on time
5. Experience with AutoCAD software
6. An understanding of building construction
7. Able to make red line corrections to documents
8. Able to plot a drawing correctly
9. Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel software
10. Knowledgeable about methods of transfer of electronic data, including e-mail, FTP site or intranet/extranet, and disk/CDRW
11. Willingly takes direction from superiors
