Job Description:
Under responsibility of the project Piping and layout leader or piping engineers manages on a project a team of Piping and Layout Draftsman in order to carry out the Piping and Layout part of the installations, 3D CAD model and the Piping and Layout construction drawings in accordance with
technical, budget and schedule targets.

Desired Candidate Profile:

C - Bidding phase / Commercial proposal development
D - Project Execution

1) Designs, executes or checks the typical Piping and Layout studies including:
a. 3D modelling
b. 3D model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report.
c. construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports)
d. bill of materials or material take off,
e. extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model

2) Organizes the work of his team and follow-up the planning of the resources mobilisation.

3) Co-ordinates the work of his team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project.

4) Checks the input data and all the documents and information issued by his team.

5) Checks permanently that all the assumptions upon which is based his team work keep up with the project development and warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any detected anomaly.

6) Supervises the update of the documents after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)

7) Feeds the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project.
