1. Head – Breeding Activites
- As a Incharge of breeding activities responsible for improvement of dairy cattle through
artificial insemination by using frozen semen of exotic & cross bred cattle.
- Providing AI Services to small scale and large scale dairy farmer.
- Al monitoring in Warana dairy area.
- Arranging and conducting infertility camps.
- In charges of “Estrus Synchronization Programme” this unique programme is conducted on mass scale
at field level.
2. Animal Health Services
Prevention
- Vaccination progamme e.g. FMD , HS & BQ.
- Mass Deworming programme two times a year e.g. Pre monsoon & Post monsoon
Diagnosis and Treatment.
- I am responsible for complete health coverage to dairy farms through mobile veterinary Clinic and emergency veterinary service which include diagnosis and treatment of sick animals, solving
dystocia, mastitis control and overall advice on dairy cattle management.
Surgery
- Conducting minor & major surgical interventions in large and small animals like hoof trimming,
patellar desmotomy Rumenotomy, caesarean section, dystocia, prolapse, spaying castration etc.
3 Extension Activities & services
- Responsible for providing consultancy services to large scale dairy farmers about nutrition
Ration balancing, TMR ( Total Mixed Ration ) fertility Management, Clean milk production,
Mastitis control etc.
- I have to organize and conduct work campaign, calf rallies, milk competition, livestock Shows etc.
