Job Description

Job Responsibilities of Manager QAQC
1. Planning and administering a quality assurance program that aims at ensuring continuous production that is consistent with the adopted and established quality standards.
2. Developing and establishing standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation and ensuring abiding by them.
3. Supervising and overseeing the analysis, inspection, design, and testing, to ensure the highest standards of quality.
4. Checking of the quality of material received at the sites as per the required specifications & quality norms to avoid use of substandard material.
5. Coordinating the material procurement department for procurement of quality material.
6. Establishment of testing laboratories at the sites with the qualified QA / QC supervisors.
7. Setting and overseeing the implementation of a testing and inspection schedule and ensuring the compliance with the set date and procedures.
8. Supervising and coordinating the quality auditing efforts to ensure compliance with adopted standards.
9. Inspecting and checking the executed works to ensure the quality.
10. Maintaining Quality Manual and Quality Procedures Manual and ensure the awareness of all employees with regards to the criticality of quality and the adopted standards .
11. Supervising the function of QA/QC Engineers and providing assistance and guidance as required.

[LIST][*]Ensure employees perform work in compliance with Client’s H&S Standards.[*]Implementing Permit system on site and checking.[*]Performing Daily Toolbox talks and ensures involvement of line supervisors.[*]Scrutinising Supervisor’s Daily Total Safe Task Instructions (TSTI’s) documents and verifies actual conditions with Supervisor’s statements.[*]Performs Planned Task Observations and daily deviation reports[*]Physical Inspections of all tools / equipment. Completion of all applicable registers. All registers updated as per specific intervals/requirements and maintained.[*]Identifying unsafe acts and conditions and corrective actions.
