To prepare Project feasibility study in line with JMH norms
Job Description :
1. To explore and analyse various engineering solutions available for a defined project demand and to propose the best fit design as well as alternatives of plant, machinery and facilities.

2. Detailed design and Basic engineering - Carry out mass balance , energy balance and equipment sizing calculations. Prepare layout diagrams and P&ID. Establish appropriate references to Indian Engineering standards / International standards for all proposal details. Interact with external designers / consultants to verify and confirm as necessary

3. To prepare Project feasibility study in line with JMH norms.

4. To draw up an overall project plan and detailed schedule of activities and resources in consultation with Project Manager and Manufacturing. Determine cost estimates, data for payback period and IRR calculations

5. Workout utility requirements & select appropriate utility equipments. Liaison with Government authorities so that application of all statutory acts, Industrial relation rules, Safety and environmental regulations are covered in the proposal . Ensure Environment Impact Assessment study is carried out at appropriate juncture.

6. To prepare Project feasibility study in line with JMH norms. Post approval of initial project idea prepare full proposal document with complete details and checklists.

7. Identification and selection of appropriate Vendors and as necessary development of same. Carry out initial discussions in consultation with other members of the team.

8. Interface with Project Execution, process and manufacturing personnel to update and maintain all documentation relevant to the Project from feasibility stage up to completion and commissioning stage.

Role Description :
Degree/Master Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology with 5 years experience in process operation and maintenance in chemical industry.

Key Skills and Experience :
Health and safety training approved by DGFASLI is an added advantage.
Computer literacy is essential.
