Project Experience at Diesel desulphurization Unit :
(Project Cost 145million USD)
Be the part of feasibility joint team comprising for setting up new Diesel desulphurization plant to produce Diesel fuel sulfur contents of 500 ppm. Working with the Joint team as a project/process engineer from NRL, I studied and coordinate on following points :
- Pre-feasibility studies of the unit.
- Front hand engineering design.
- Site Selection
- Utility Balance and Natural Gas Transmission line Sizing.
- Equipment selection.
- Calculations of pay back period and IRR.
- P&ID review and developed PFDs
- Technical review of the project.
- Hazop studies.
- Project Budgeting and finance review.
- Process selection and correspondence with UOP.
The project has been approved Project will be commissioned by the end of year 2009.

- Condensate Crude injection facility in crude feed :
Developed PFD, P& ID, carried out engineering calculation for condensate injection of 7,000 barrel per day of crude feed from CDU .

- Jet Aviation fuel JP-8 Production facility at meroxes unit.
Studied, designed, implemented and commissioned, aviation fuel JP-8 Production from NRL to clients. This project includes sizing of control valve, sizing, air/vent knock out drum evaluations, flow meters, Line sizing, Pumps selection, revamping of tanks, chemical additive blending facility and turbo mixers.
Operational Achievements :
- Supervision of Test runs of crude distillation unit at tower top temperature, operation below turndown ratio, operation with maximum percentage of lighter crude oils i.e. Murban and local crude in crude-mix.
- Evaluation of different crude oils according to refinery configuration with respect to Product yields, qualities and overall profitability.
- Compiled many comprehensive reports on different sever problems faced during daily operation of the units after analyzing the problems. These reports helped in resolving the problems.
- Prepare procedures for implementation Integrated Management System IMS comprises of three international standards certificates i.e. ISO 9001 :2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1996.
