ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
NATIONALITY/ CITIZENSHIP:
A candidate must be a Citizen of India

AGE :Age as on 01.07.2009 Min.21 Max 45

Educational Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline. 1 year working experience in Core Banking Solution (Financial) branches in any bank

Application Fee and Postage Charges (Non-refundable)
SC/ST/PC category candidates : Rs. 50/- per candidate
General/OBC/EXSM category candidates : Rs. 400/- per candidate


SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection will be through written test and/or interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms would not entitle a candidate to be called for Test or Interview. The Bank may call only the requisite number of candidates after preliminary screening/short-listing with reference to the candidates’ qualifications, suitability, experience etc.
The Written Test will be held on Sunday, 20-12-2009

The Candidates will have to appear for the written examination at the allotted centre at their own expenses and risks and the Bank will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.
NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
The date of the test is tentative. The exact date will be communicated to the candidates through the call letters for the examination. The Bank reserves the right to cancel or make any change in the date of the test, if necessary

HOW TO APPLY:-
Procedure for Depositing Fee:

The application fee must be paid in cash at any branch of Punjab National Bank. Before depositing the fee, the candidate must download a copy of the Cash voucher from our website [[[Only Registered Users Can See This Website Link. REGISTER HERE for Jobs in India. Joining is Fast and Easy.]]]. The voucher will be in duplicate. The following details must be entered into both copies of the voucher:
(i) Candidate’s name,
(ii) Candidate’s category,
(iii) Name and code no. of the Branch selected for payment,
(iv) Date of payment and
(v) Fee to be paid
(vi) post applied for.
Thereafter, the voucher is to be presented at the Branch, along with the application fee. After payment, the candidate must ensure that the transaction ID generated is entered into the voucher. The candidate’s copy of the voucher will then be handed over to him/her. Payment of fee should be made from 22-10-2009 to 07-11-2009. The date will be the same for candidates belonging to far-flung areas.

Procedure to Apply

The transaction ID provided by the Branch after deposit of fee must be quoted in the application and the Original Cash voucher must be produced along with the call letter at the time of the written test.

Application registration on our website will be open from 22-10-2009 and the last date for registering applications On-Line is 07-11-2009.

The candidate should have a valid email id. This will enable him/her to receive call letter/ interview advice etc. by email.

Candidates should keep a printout of the duly submitted application as well as original Cash Voucher. The original Cash Voucher is to be produced at the Examination Hall.

An Information Handout will be sent to the candidates along with the call letter for written test.
On-Line applications are to be processed by a computerized system, it is essential that the application is properly and completely filled in.
NO OTHER MODE OF APPLICATION/PRINTOUT OR DRAFT ETC. WILL BE ACCEPTED. APPLICATIONS/ATTESTED CERTIFICATES ETC. ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE SENT.

CALL LETTERS FOR THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION
The date of the Written Examination has been tentatively fixed for 20-12-2009 (Sunday). However, the date of Examination shall be intimated in the Call Letter alongwith the Centre/Venue address.
Call letters will be issued by post to the correspondence addresses provided by the candidates. An eligible candidate who does not receive the Call letter by 14-12-2009 should contact at the Circle Offices of the Bank located at the center of Written Examination opted for with a printout of the complete application, original payment voucher and ID proof for obtaining duplicate call letters.
