DIGITAL DICE (In Third Year Engineering) :-
Description :
In many of the indoor games, we use as the main element of the game. It is also used in casinos and games of chances. We tried to build a circuit which gives a physical appearance of a dice. A dice has six faces; each corresponds to a no. of dots ranging from 1 to 6. Similarly the outer appearance of the circuit has six LED’s which are arranged just like the dice.
The circuit consists of a counter which gets reset after six counts. The counter is given an external clock source which is activated by pressing a push-up switch by the user. The counter runs for a random tine and stops at a certain value. After certain AND and OR logical combination it is given to the display LED’s.


GSM Controlled Vehicle(In Final Year Engineering) :-
Description :
The penetration of cellular phones in India has been dramatic, so much so that not only adults are in possession of one or many cellular phones, but also primary school children are carrying cellular phones to their schools. Short messaging services, as one of the many features of a modern cellular technology are more preferred than voice calls due to its low cost. It is known that voice calls are to corporate employees that SMS are to the youths and students. This trend has open millions of opportunities for developing many applications based on the SMS technology, such as SMS banking, SMS-based polling, and even SMS-based voting.
Certain parameters of car can be controlled or overlooked by just using your mobile phone. By just messaging certain fixed letters from your phone to the kit installed in your car, you can virtually manage your car. By connecting a mobile like Nokia 3310 to a microcontroller, we can send certain message whenever a particular sensor is activated. These sensors, which detect certain factors like temperature, etc., are connected to microcontroller.
