We have an urgent opening for PIPING ENGINEERS, Gurgaon.
Requirement for Mechanical Engineers with Piping background, 4 to 15 years, preferably Power Plant and/or Oil & Gas Piping.
Should be conversant with 3D modelling tools (PDMS/PDS) with experience of leading Project Piping work of around 30,000 manhours independantly .

Will be required to handle a team of Engineers and should be wll conversant with relevant Codes and Standards.
Preferred working environment on Global Project Engineering and Coordination. with good communication skills.

DESCRIPTION :
As there is increase in the variable AC supply in the industrial drives so there is a need for a controllable AC device which can supply the required variable AC voltage to the drives. This controllable AC voltage is obtained from an inverter. The voltage in an inverter is controlled by various controlling techniques. This project mainly describes a controlling technique known as space vector PWM, which is computationally intensive and efficient method and it is observed that space vector pulse width modulation technique will generate less amount of harmonics than the conventional sinusoidal PWM method.
Space vector modulation is one of the pwm technique. In this project we are employing this technique .It is more advantageous than the sinusoidal pwm technique. By using SVM technique THD value reduced by 47%, less switching losses are reduced by 30% and so many advantages which we will discus in this project. The output crest voltage is increased by 1.115 times than that of the conventional sine-PWM method. If the inverter is used for the drives then this method gives higher torque and higher efficiency for the motors. It gives 15% better utilization of the DC bus voltage
