    Title : Process Validation of Racecadotril.
    Subject : Pharmaceutics
    Description : Redotil (racecadotril), the first anti-hypersecretory agent for the management of acute diarrhea has been launched by Dr.Reddys in India. The product will be available as 100 mg capsules.
    This has been in the market for years produced by Dr.Reddys FTO-1. Presently the API vendor has been changed from one vendor to the other; hence Process Validation has to be performed.
    All the Critical Process parameters are been checked such as Premixing, Granulation, Drying, Blending and Capsulation. Three validation batches are performed and evaluated for the results. The results are with in the acceptance criteria. The validation batch is passed and the regular production batches are been performed.
