My friend was also selected by Arfha for cruise line and they are asking 40000/INR advance for process of CDC.

yes even ma frd is been selected and this ppl have asked to pay rs 44000 so is their any of the concern person who can ans our question and can suggest us for the following questions................

this company is a total scam. i was told about Oceanic cruise line. I have contacts in USA ans i am from cruise line also. They dont have any such recruitre here. i have wasted 6500 on medical already and they are asking for 44000 and csll everyday on my cell. I have not paid them and upon asking the history and contact person in USA they had no reply.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY AND CONTACT THE NEAREST POLICE STATION FOR SCAM. I WILL BE GOING TO THE MEDIA ALSO...

even me and my younger brother Ishtiyak R. have applied in arfha but instead of me my brother got selected for regent cruises. Company is already provided him with the BAHAMAS CDC and the appointment letter too by mail. So I feel probably those who don't get through make so much noices....well ALL THE BEST to rest of them. If u r capable than u will definitely go further. ....................My regards to all of them.

This is Raghu. I am selected as Restaurant Captain in Canada through this Recruitment Agency today on 23/02/2010. They said to pay 4750 /. for Medical Check up & 36,000 /. work Permit Fees/ I asked them about that canada employer details, but their said, that is very confidential, once you are phisically fitted this job you will be notified about the employer details. Thie didn;t give any offer letter or oppointment letter also.

Arpha 110% fraud. There is no such agent who ask money before processing.. The guys who says good about them are same guys involed with arpha.. So guys plz plz dont go with them. You will can check if they are register with DG shipping govt.

Hi all i am from chennai
recently there is a company called 7 seas shipping and travels got opened in chennai purasaiwalkum.
here they are recruting for ship and rig.....they said every one to take a medical test for which we suppose to go to mumbai hospital nagori diagonastic center....in nagpada junction and for this we need to pay 6500 as fees for the test....
I am going on 29th of april to take the test....
After seeing ur previous comments...i afraid this also the same compnay which is related to arfha international...

Can u guys suggest me any idea weather i go for the test....
I am actually looking for oil rig job...

Hi to all. I was going through all the blogs and found that there is lot ignorance amongst people regarding Merchant navy. I would like to give some useful tips to all. Hopefully it will be helpful.

Firstly pls donot get caught in web of such companies. Which promise big salary to tempt u.Check background of the company first. All companies are legal emloyers are supposed to be registered with director general shipping and must have a valid RPSL number. Check on dgshipping website.

Secondly check which principle ship owners are employing through these compaines.

CDC- means contious discharge certificate. It is issued by shipping master after completing necessary courses and complying with there criteria. The fees is not more than 1000 rs/- for the same. Check on website.

Donot give money for placements. As all official agents are paid commission by Ship owners for same.

it takes only 2 to 3 weeks to get cdc
first you need to do stcw95 course
then apply for cdc.
then search for jobs.

The company is owned by RR pandian and is a total fraud. Bombay high court has ordered him not to enter Chembur and he is on bail for forgery and assaulting the police.
