BHEL, Jhansi invites applications for its well equipped Hospital with excellent infrastructure from Para Medical Professionals of Indian origin for the following posts for appointment on Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of Two years :-

The job offered is purely on Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of Two Years. THIS POST IS NOT AGAINST ANY PERMANENT VACANCY. This placement will not ensure any regular/permanent employment in BHEL in future.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifications)
1. Nursing Assistant: A” Grade certificate in Gen. Nursing & Midwifery.
OR B.Sc.(Nursing) (Must be registered with the State Nursing Council)
2. Pharmacy Assistant : Matric/ SSLC. Pass in Pharmacists examination as approved
by the Central/ State Govt. Should be registered under Pharmacy Council Act.
3. Opthalmology Technician Recognised Diploma in Ophthalmology or equivalent Assistant
4. DentalTechnicianAssistant Matric/SSLC
Desirable : Certificate of training in a Govt. Hospital/ recognized Institute
5. PhysiotherpyAssistant Matric/SSLC & Recognized Diploma in Physiotherapy

Mode of Selection :
Selection will be made by conducting written test and Interview, if the Nos. of eligible
applications received on or before last date for submission of applications, against a particular
position, is greater than 10 Nos. In case the Nos. of eligible applications received, on or before
last date for submission of applications, against a particular position, is less than 10 Nos. only
interview will be conducted to access suitability.

Emoluments & Benefits :
Selected candidates will be appointed on Fixed Tenure Appointment basis for two years only and a remuneration amount as mentioned against each post in the above table will be paid per month. Candidates will be reimbursed premium for Mediclaim Policy up to Rs. 2 Lakhs for self and family (Self, Spouse and dependent Children). The present financial liability on this account shall be limited to a maximum of Rs 350/-p.m. Candidates will not be eligible for subsidized company accommodation, reimbursement of conveyance expenditure, LTC/LTA, Contributory Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, Group Insurance, Group Accident Insurance, etc as per rules.

Candidates will be entitled for paid leave of one day for every 20 days of work in addition to applicable declared paid holidays. Appointment to the post will be subject to being found medically fit by the Authorized Medical officer of BHEL, in accordance with BHEL health standards.

About BHEL Jhansi :
By the end of 5th five-year plan, it was envisaged by the planning commission that the demand for power transformer would rise in the coming years. Anticipating the country’s requirement BHEL decided to set up a new plant, which would manufacture power and other types of transformers in addition to the capacity available in BHEL Bhopal. The Bhopal plant was engaged in manufacturing transformers of large ratings and Jhansi unit would concentrate on power transformer upto 50 KVA, 132 KV class and other transformers like Instrument Transformers, Traction transformers for railway etc.

This unit of Jhansi was established around 14 km from the city on the N.H. No 26 on Jhansi Lalitpur road. It is called second-generation plant of BHEL set up in 1974 at an estimated cost of Rs 16.22 crores inclusive of Rs 2.1 crores for township. Its foundation was laid by late Mrs. Indira Gandhi the prime minister on 9th Jan. 1974. The commercial production of the unit began in 1976-77 with an output of Rs 53 lacs since then there has been no looking back for BHEL Jhansi.
