PROJECT :
Workshops of different modules have been conducted as under :
- Full fledged Stereo compilation with interpretation of all features and their locations, capturing of planimetric and DTM (Break lines \ Mass points)
- Generation of contours, DTM editing and placing of spot heights
Workshop Modules :
Module I
- The main objective of the project is to collect the planimetric features like roads, driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, buildings, hydro features like ponds, rivers, ditches, utilities like lamp posts, electic posts, utility boxes, manholes, catch basins, vegetations like trees, hedges, treelines and topographical (DTM) features like break lines and mass points. With the help of CIP (Contour Interpreted Points) features contours were generates with 2 feet interval, DTM editing and spot heights were placed.
- Input scan used in the exercise is 1 :7500 for 1 = 1000 scale mapping.
Module II
- The main objective of the projecet is to collect the planimetric features like roads, driveways, sidewalks, curbs medians, road islands, parking lots, buildings, hydro features like ponds, rivers, ditches, gutter utilities like lamp posts, electric posts, antennae, utility boxes, manholes, catch basins and buildings, hydro features like ponds, rivers, ditches capturing of utilities like manholes, power poles, mail boxes, vegetations like trees, hedges, treelings and topographical (DTM) features like break lines and mass points. With the help if CIP (Contour Interprectes Points) features contours were generated with 1 foot interval.
- Input scan used in this exercise is 1 :3000 fir 1=500 scale mapping
Module III
- The main objective of this project is to collect breaklines & grid masspoints at 100’ interval for 2’ contour inverval generations. With the help of DTM, contours were generates, DTM editing was done and spot heights were placed.
- Input scan used in this exercise is 1 :6,000 for 1”=100 scale mapping.
