    Centralised Accident Trauma Services Recruitment 2009 : Ambulance Officer

    CENTRALISED ACCIDENT AND TRAUMA SERVICES (CATS)
    (An Autonomous Body of Govt. of NCT of Delhi),

    Applications are invited for appointment of Assistant Ambulance Officers on contract basis in Centralised Accident Trauma Services, initially for a period of one year, as per details given below:

    No. of Posts 63

    Essential Qualifications:
    1. 10 + 2 with Certificate Course (9 months duration) for Pre Hospital Trauma Technician (PTT), approved by Govt. of India
    OR Science graduate with minimum 50% marks

    2. The candidate must possess at least one year old valid driving license for LMV category vehicles, as on 30.10.2009.
    (The selected candidates would be required to successfully undergo training for Basic Life Support Techniques and ambulance driving)

    Emoluments:
    a. During the period of Training : Stipend @ Rs. 6000/- p.m.
    b. After successful completion of Training : Consolidated remuneration @
    Rs.16,500/- p.m. No other allowances shall be payable.

    Age limit:
    19 years to 27 years as on 30.10.2009. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC and 03 years for OBC candidates. For other categories the age relaxation shall be as per instructions issued by the Govt. from time to time.

    Selection Criteria:
    The selection criteria would be written examination and interview. The written examination and the interview would be held at Delhi only, for which candidates,if called, shall have to attend at their own expense.

    Application Fee:
    Application Fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 200/- for General & OBC Candidates,must be submitted in the form of Bank Draft / Pay Order payable in Delhi in favor of Centralized Accident & Trauma Services.

    downloaded from http://health.delhigovt.nic.in or can be obtained from the office of Centralised Accident & Trauma Services,
    Bela Road, Yamuna Pusta,
    Near Vijay Ghat,
    Delhi – 110006, on payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only).

    Submission of application form:
    The duly filled application forms along with the requisite documents and Bank Draft / Pay Order must be submitted on or before 30.10.2009 at CATS office.

    Head Office:
    The Head Office of CATS is situated at
    IInd Floor Community Centre,
    Tank Road, Karol Bagh,
    New Delhi-110005.

    Control Room
    The Central Control Room of CATS is situated at
    Sushruta Trauma Centre at Metcalf Road near I.P. College,
    Delhi-54
    telephone Nos. 1099 and 102
    (Toll Free number) on 12 lines of telephones.
    The calls are also received through Police Control Room (PCR) and from Delhi Fire Service through wireless.
    The Central Control Room and ambulance stations are linked with wireless sets for facilitating two-way communication between the sender and the receiver

    Training Centre
    The Training Centre of CATS is situated at
    DHS dispensary,
    Sector-8,
    Rohini,
    New Delhi,
    which provides training in Emergency First-aid to the general public, students and officials/officers of Govt./Non-Govt. agencies.

    Work Shop
    CATS has its own work shop for minor repair and maintenance of the vehicles.
    The workshop is situated at
    Flood Control Deptt. Complex,
    Mughal Band, Shanti Van,
    New Delhi.
