Designation SPECIALIST - GRAPHIC DESIGN
Job Description
The SPECIALIST - GRAPHIC DESIGN edits content, creates graphics and edits format for a multitude of advertisements and communications for FCA in all stages of creative development.

Overview:
The Production Artist prepares files for production using specification guidelines, pre-flight software such as Adobe CS 3 InDesign & Photoshop and standard quality assurance procedures. The Production Artist works closely with Project Managers who provide direction from the team throughout the development process. .

Roles & Responsibilities:
Intimately involved in the executional phase of the creative process, the SPECIALIST - GRAPHIC DESIGN will create, edit and release print-ready files for marketing collateral and advertising materials. The SPECIALIST - GRAPHIC DESIGN will work closely with Project Managers and Designers through rounds of edits and updates of files. Also, the SPECIALIST - GRAPHIC DESIGN will support Design in the entire creative process, supporting applications such as QuarkXpress, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash. Before release, the SPECIALIST - GRAPHIC DESIGN will evaluate and clean up files through a pre-flight process to prepare for release. The SPECIALIST - GRAPHIC DESIGN will also need strong mechanical skills (i.e., comping, boarding, building prototypes).

Desired Profile
* Any graduation (preferably in Advertising, Communications, or Graphic Design)
* Excellent command and working knowledge of at least 2 years in:
* Adobe InDesign,QuarkXpress,Adobe Photo shop,Adobe Illustrator,Adobe Acrobat.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint as well as Macro media Flash a plus.
* Familiarity with pre-press print production.
* Excellent organization of follow-through skills.
* 2 - 3 years minimum relevant experience in an organisation where turn around time, productivity & accuracy are measured on the output delivered.
* Good overall communication skills experience working directly with US based clients.
Shift timings: • 2pm to 11 pm, IST.
