Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interact with Corporate and US Finance departments, third party sales tax compliance vendor, customers, and state and local tax authorities to obtain and provide information.
• Assist on state and local tax audits, including preparing responses to inquiries.
• Address customer concerns and issues regarding application of telecommunications tax to customer invoices.
• Answer internal questions regarding tax on purchases.
• Perform tax research and document conclusion.
• Work on projects that require technical knowledge, teamwork, problem solving skills, and effective communication skills.
• Prepare & File all Business License Returns
• Process all Weekly Tax Payments including mailing & filing.
• Preparation of unclaimed property tax filings on an annual basis.
• Preparation of sales and use returns in various states.
• Assist preparation of regulatory reports in all 50 states on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Assistance with the preparation of annual state income tax extensions for various Primus US subsidiaries.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree with accounting or finance as a major.
• One to two year Tax Work Experience
• Strong Organization Skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and interact with all areas of Finance.
• Strong Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
• Self-starter with ability to excel in fast-paced environment and handle multiple task concurrently.
