Job Description
As Senior Video Software Engineer, candidate will work on video software and driver development/feature enhancement, productization and debugging (mainly Windows and PC platform). Focus will be on video compression, decompression, transcoding, and processing such as advanced de-interlacing, scaling, filtering, etc. Familiarity with Video codecs, Multimedia system programming/design, Windows device driver and kernel-mode system programming, is a must. Candidate will also be involved in technical design and be able to provide technical answers to the team. Desired Profile
-The ideal candidate will possess an advanced engineering degree in Computer Science, Digital Signal Processing (Video/Image processing) or related discipline

- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Relevant industries include PC or consumer video hardware or software development, digital video, image processing, or video hardware or software codec development.

-The candidate should be familiar with a wide range of current video and image processing techniques and digital video compression standards such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, and Windows Media Video.

- The candidate is expected to have experience in handling projects involving device driver development, preferably on Windows platform using WDK/DDK.

- The candidate should have very strong technical skills and inclination to pursue career experience in technical ladder.

- The candidate should have capability and desire to provide technical guidance to the video team members, very willing to share technical knowledge across the team and focus on technical growth of team members, discuss technical resolutions/designs with the team and drive the technical solutions to final conclusion.

- As a senior member of the team the candidate should have ability to take challenges, set high standards, take calculated risks, nurture innovation in team, adapt to the dynamism and NVIDIA's overall business goals.

-Other useful experience: DirectX, DirectShow, BluRay, HDTV, ATSC, DVB, DVD, etc.

- Responsibilities included : Receiving a brief, and sometimes an outline of footage or a shot list, or screenplay, assembling all raw footage with the camera shots either recorded or manually transferred onto high-format video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer, inputting uncut rushes and sound, synchronizing and storing them into files on computer...

- Oversaw the quality and progress of audio and vision engineering and editing, consulted with the director, producer and client throughout the post-production process, experimented with styles and techniques, selected the most effective shot of a scene in terms of drama, story relevance or continuity.
