Job Description:
Embedded Software Development with embedded Linux (including kernel and driver development), for various Consumer Electronic devices such as DVR system, Digital Media player & Server.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience : B.E. with 4+ yrs. of embedded system software development

Skill Set :
Embedded Software Developer, embedded software engineer, Linux, C/C++, kernel, ARM/PPC, BIOS, embedded systems, driver development
• Embedded Linux experience including kernel and driver development
• Proficient in C, C++ in embedded development environments
• Ability to dig deep into the Linux kernel to solve complex problems
• Ability to architect software and its interfaces to hardware platforms
• Working knowledge of bootloaders and getting new hardware platforms to run
• Experience with ARM/PPC processors is desired, X86 processors/BIOS is a plus
• Experience writing drivers for microprocessor peripherals such as Ethernet, USB,
• UARTS, I2C, Audio, Display, PCI, PCIe
• Skills in build, infrastructure, kernel packaging, (linux packaging) preferred.
