Applications in prescribed proforma are invited from eligible candidates for
recruitment for vacant posts of 218 Foresters and 863 Forest Guards in accordance with the Karnataka Forest Department Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2003

Application Form Fees
The prescribed Application Form, Candidate's Instructions Booklet and Envelope for submission of Application Form will be sold by the Karnataka Forest Department. Prescribed Application Form, Candidate's Instructions Booklet and Envelope for submission of Application Form can be purchased by paying Rs.75/- in cash from all the offices of the Territorial Deputy Conservators of Forests in the State and Application Sale Counter at Aranya Bhavan, 18th cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore-560003 from 09-1 1-2009 to 23-11-2009 (including all Government holidays) from 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Last date for submission of filled in Applications: 30-11-2009 till 02.30 p.m.

Educational qualification:
Forester: Pass in P.U.C. (Science) or 12th Standard (Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, Biology.)
Forest Guard:Pass in S.S.L.C. or 10th standard

Details of age limit, reservation of the posts, selection procedure, various
tests like Physical Standard, Physical Endurance, Written, Medical fitness,
requirement of original documents, Syllabus for written test, Examination centers etc. are available in the Notification dated 26-09-2009. The Notification dated 26-09-2009 has been uploaded in the Department's official website:

The above Notification has also been published in the Notice Board of Aranya Bhavan, Malleshwaram, Bangalore-3 and in the Notice Boards in all the offices of the Circle Conservators of Forests, Deputy Conservators of Forests (Territorial & Wildlife) in the State
