Currently we are looking for 2D Animators and Illustrators as per the following eligibility criteria:
Experience: Freshers with an in-depth knowledge of 2D Animation, Sketching, Illustrations etc. Having 1 year experience in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification: Graduation (in any field) but having done a professional PG Diploma/ Certificate course in Animation, Graphics or Instructional Designing will be an added advantage.


Job Description:

ØProvide complex hand keyed animation content to a high quality finish and to an agreed schedule, taking an active part in the artistic creation process and ensuring the overall vision of the studio is maintained.

ØSupport the Lead Animator in ensuring the overall animation requirements are met quality, schedule and vision using knowledge of tool chain, assets and potential risks.

ØTake an active role in the artistic creation process of agreeing animation content specifics - taking agreed action outcomes and ensuring animation content fulfils vision, quality expectations and time restraints.

ØBuild, maintain and manage strong working relationships with other disciplines within the organization to ensure clarity of vision is maintained across all teams and animation content is on target throughout the whole process. Support more junior team members to achieve same aims.

ØMaintain both a detailed view of animation content worked on as well as a bigger picture view of the whole pipeline to ensure problem solving when required is both adept and long-term in view

ØMaintain a flexible working practice showing the ability and willingness to adapt to various animation styles, and to take advice from other disciplines and members of the animation team as required.

ØRemain informed of the schedule both for the animation team and the studio in general, and maintain an up-to-date awareness of own work ensuring time estimates of completion of tasks to be as accurate as possible.

Essential Qualities:

¨Advanced knowledge of relevant 2D art & animation packages in particular Flash, Photoshop etc.
¨Ability to adapt to various animation styles with emphasis on realistic & semi-realistic human driven animation.
¨Ability to use stylus (or electronic pens) for sketching images.
¨Demonstrable understanding of programme development likely to be gained from at least two years relevant experience.
¨Demonstrable creative thinking.
¨Good communication skills both with other animators as well as other disciplines i.e. both on a technical and creative level
¨A Demonstrable passion for animation.
