Examination Notice No. 01/2010-CMS dated 05.09.2009

F. 14/1/2009-E.I(B) : A combined examination for recruitment will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on the 17th January, 2010 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Dept. of Health) in the Gazette of India dated the 5th September, 2009.

(i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways. 250
(ii) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service. 20
(iii) Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services. 80
(iv) Medical Officers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. 26
(v) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council 11

(II) Age Limit :
A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st January, 2010, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1978.

(III) Educational Qualification :
For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.

(IV) FEE : Rs. 100.00 (Rupees One hundred only)

(V). How to Apply:
The UPSC have developed an application form common for all their examinations which can be processed on computerised machines. This application form alongwith an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application is obtainable from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country as listed in Appendix-III of Notice against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty only).
The duly filled in application form and the acknowledgement card should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the Information Brochure. You should also write the name of examination viz. “Combined Medical Services Examination-2010” on the envelope before despatching it to “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110069”

(VI). Last date for receipt of applications : on or before 5th October, 2009.
