Overseeing plant operations encompassing plant engineering, R&M and utility budgeting and other allied functions for accomplishment of overall business targets.
Maintenance/ Troubleshooting; Planning & execution of annual shutdown maintenance of Electrical & Mechanical equipments, spares & consumable management & improvement in productivity by reducing breakdowns. Monitoring schedules to start maintenance activities and achieve targets, implementing maintenance systems. Organizing TPM, Preventive, Periodic Maintenance schedules.
Process Improvements;Appraising prevalent production systems/ processes, identifying loopholes if any and undertaking result-oriented measures for alleviating them. Undertaking BPR initiatives, technological up gradation, automation & reconditioning of machine tools & manufacturing process to improve efficiency by reduction in cycle time. Sourcing / Vendor Management: Following up on Production status at Vendor locations; monitor processes, identify deviations and implement corrective action. Monitoring quality control of finished products before dispatch to ensure minimum to nil faults. Functioning as an interface between the Buyer and Vendors to ensure that the production schedule is met and facilitate on time seamless delivery of shipments.

- Oil fired bright annealing furnace & Pull though type slitting m/c producing 600 mm x 3000 Kgs coil wt. upto a guage 0.42 mm thick.

SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
- Distinction of modifying squeeze roll drives by incorporating propeller shaft, which increased the life of Hydro motor.
