unbundling of erstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board, engaged in Bulk purchase
and Sale of Power and coordination activities among its subsidiary

MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (FINANCE)
Desired Qualification
Candidate should possess CA/ICWA /MBA (Finance) degree with basic qualification of
B.Com/M.Com or Engineering qualification in Electrical / Electronics
/Mechanical Engineering
Compensation:
The Management Trainee/s will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 35,000/-
P.M. during the probation period of 02 years. On successful completion of
probation period, the candidate will be absorbed as Dy. Chief Accounts Officer.
The post of Dy. Chief Accounts Officer carries the revised Pay Scale of Rs. 27000-
44710 plus DA, HRA, CLA, Medical, LTC as per Company’s rules (Gross
emoluments as on date Rs.40780). The company may provide accommodation
facilities in its township in Vadodara in case of availability as per Company’s rules.
Desired Experience
CA/ICWA or MBA ( Finance) with one year post qualification experience in the
reputed organization in Finalization of Accounts, Taxation Audits, Commercial
matters.
JOB PROFILE
The incumbents depending upon his posting in Commerce and Finance/
Accounts shall have to handle Power purchase/sale, Trading, Power Purchase
Agreements/Tariff, Finalization of Accounts, Working Capital Management, Fund raising
and its Management, Taxation, Audit related matters.

As a part of Power Reform Process, the Electricity Act, 2003, was passed by the Central Government and Gujarat Electricity Industry (Re-organization & Regulation) Act, 2003, was passed by the Government of Gujarat to restructure the Electricity Industry with an aim to improve efficiency in management and delivery of services to consumers.
Under the provisions of the said Acts Govt. of Gujarat framed the Gujarat Electricity Industry Re-organization & Comprehensive Transfer Scheme, 2003, (the Transfer Scheme) vide Government Notification dated 24-10-2003 for transfer of assets/liabilities etc. of erstwhile GEB to the successor entities.

- Was accountable for Diagnostic Testing of HT equipments such as Transformer : (SFRA - Sweep Frequency Response Analysis, RVM - Recovery Voltage Measurement, Capacitance & Power Factor Test, Winding Resistance, Turns Ratio, Magnetizing Current, Magnetic Balance, and carry out routine Maintenances
- Testing of CT, PT and CVT : Capacitance & Tan delta test, ratio test, &
- Testing of Surge Arrestor : Leakage current Measurement and Tan delta measurement
