Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navaratna Central Public Sector undertaking, is a premier Aeronautical
Industry of South East Asia, with 19 Production/Overhaul/Service Divisions and 9 co-located R&D Centres spread across the
Country. HAL’s spectrum of expertise encompasses design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of
Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics & Systems and Structural
Components for Satellite & Launch Vehicles.

HAL, over the last six decades, has grown progressively into an integrated Aerospace Organization with the indigenous
design & development of Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH-Dhruv), Intermediate Jet Trainer (IJT) & Light Combat Aircraft
(LCA-Tejas). The ongoing major projects & programmes include ALH (both in military & civil roles), IJT, LCA, Pilotless
Target Aircraft (PTA), Su-30 MKI & Hawk – Advanced Jet Trainer. Aligning with the emerging future requirements, HAL has
conceptualized the indigenous development of Light Combat Helicopter (LCH), Combat Air Trainer (CAT), naval & trainer
versions of LCA, Multi Role Transport Aircraft (MTA), Medium Lift Helicopter (MLH) etc.

HAL Bangalore Complex is currently looking candidates for appointment as Diploma Trainees / Technician Trainees / Admin
Trainees /Office/Commercial Trainees / Trainee (Staff Nurse / Dressers / Clinical Assistant (ECG/Echo) / Sanitary Inspector)
/ Fireman / Security Guard, Trainee (Hindi Typist /Translator), Aircraft Technicians (XSM) in the following Disciplines/Area


APPLICATION FEE
Rs.100/-, which is non-refundable, is to be sent in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank
(preferably Indian Bank or State Bank of India) in favour of ‘Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’, payable at Bangalore.
Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD category are exempted from payment of Application Fee. The Demand Draft should
have been obtained between the period 09.09.2009 and 23.09.2009

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates short-listed based on the initial screening only will be called for Written Test. Candidates qualified in the
written test only will be called for Practical Test (wherever applicable) and Personal Interview. Date, Time and Venue of the
Written Test / Practical Test / Interview will be intimated to the short-listed/eligible candidates by E-mail / HAL Website /
Post. Candidates short listed for Interview are required to bring the certificates / documents (Original and attested
Photocopies) in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Training, Caste, Disability (As applicable), Discharge Book (In respect
of Ex-Servicemen), Employment Exchange Registration card etc and passport size photographs at the time of Interview.

HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates may send their applications, duly filled, in the prescribed format as at Annexure-1 along with the
Demand Draft, certificates / documents (attested Photocopies) in proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Training, Caste
(SC/ST/OBC certificate in the prescribed format), Disability (As applicable), Ex-servicemen discharge book (As applicable),
Employment Exchange Registration card etc by ordinary post only so as to reach on or before 23.09.2009 to the following
addresses as mentioned against each post. The candidate is required to write his / her name and post applied for on the
reverse side of Demand Draft, which should be forwarded to the following address as mentioned against each post,
subscribing on the envelop, in bold, the post applied for, discipline and advertisement No.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) came into existence on 1st October 1964. The Company was formed by the merger of Hindustan Aircraft Limited with Aeronautics India Limited and Aircraft Manufacturing Depot, Kanpur.
The Company traces its roots to the pioneering efforts of an industrialist with extraordinary vision, the late Seth Walchand Hirachand, who set up Hindustan Aircraft Limited at Bangalore in association with the erstwhile princely State of Mysore in December 1940.
