Job Description:

*** Please read carefully - A Global company is looking for an Internet Marketing Manager to manage a team of approximately 10 - 20 people in our new downtown Mumbai office. We are looking for a bright, analytical and detail oriented person with 4 years online marketing experience. You must know the in's and out's of INTERNET MARKETING. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in web technologies and web analytics in particular, with strong client/presentation skills as well. Programming and web design knowledge is a plus but NOT a requirement. You should have knowledge about how the various internet search engines function, pay-per-click (PPC) accounts, web stat programs, and internet marketing business ROI, email marketing, affiliate marketing. The position requires excellent communication skills, ability to discuss business objectives and define reports and provide recommendations, and will require a command of web analytics configuration skills, business requirement assessment, "key performance indicator" awareness, and an ability to perform knowledge transfer to our clients.

In close coordination with the internet marketing department this role will ensure conformity with search engine best practices as well as web usability. Working in close conjunction with the Director of Online Marketing, you will enhance the diverse portfolio of our company and lead our new team in India.

Desired Candidate Profile:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following...
• Test and analyze keywords, title and description copy
• Research and evaluate competitors paid search marketing efforts and identify new search opportunities.
• Find solutions to increase free traffic to the site through optimization of Web site pages
• Search engine and directory submissions
• Article submissions
• Strategic link building development and link purchasing
• Ongoing SEO research and development
• Implement on-page & off-page optimization techniques
• Monitor and report on activities completed each day/week.
• Creation/Modification of content for each page.
• Attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and organizational development.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Attain an in depth knowledge of sports scheduling and search terminologies which will maximize return on investment and drive mass traffic
• Ensure testing and performance reports are completed in thorough and complete manner
• Define strategic plans which will ensure maximal return including podcasting, new search techniques and new search niches
• Properly plan and present programs in structured format on a regular basis to the Director of Internet Marketing
• Ensure strategic plans fit into the business metrics as assigned by the Director of Internet marketing
• Spearhead from strategy to execution niche campaigns whose primary focus is customer acquisition through search, viral and buzz marketing
