Job Description: Sura Systems is looking to expand its application development team. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about programming and have a minimum of 1 year experience in one or more the skills given below. Developers who are fast learners will be inducted in our team as permanent employees if they adapt to our domain. Developers who have been laid off recently will be given first preference. We are only looking for candidates who are already in Chennai and are willing to join immediately. During the initial period of 3 - 4 months, remuneration will only be on a project to project basis. Synopsis:
Breast cancer has been a cause of fatality among all cancers of women. Since there is currently no way of preventing breast cancer, early detection allows treatment before cancer is spread to other parts of body, early detection with the mammogram alone generally doesn’t help the doctor to detect all the calcifications hence using wavelets in image processing, with Matlab software helps in detecting the appropriate size, shape, and number of calcifications present.
Project 2: Detection of Lung tumours in CT images and Bright Spots Analysis using Image Processing in Matlab

Period: Sept 2005- May 2007
Synopsis:
This research project is concerned with the analysis and classification of bright spots in the tumour. Bright Spots ratio of the tumour is an important ratio, which is nothing but the ratio of number of bright spots and the area of the tumour that is detected. A key problem in finding the number of bright spots is that the images need to be pre-processed. The pre-processing steps include Segmenting, Thresholding, Bandpass filtering and morphological processing. The ratio found is of vital importance to predict the malignancy of the disease and can also help in determining the stage of the cancer. The major task involved in the project is to find the tumour and predict the aggressiveness and its property analysis. The detection was done by designing a band pass filter, the number of bright spots was counted by morphological processing and analysed against the Standardised Uptake Value (SUV) intake. The Bright Spots ratio (BSR) was detected and analysed against area of the tumour and against different stages.

Project Description :
This project is given by AIIMS, Delhi and basically it is used for dental treatment planning. Cephalometric analysis is the study of the dental and skeletal relationships in the head. This analysis is based on physiological and anatomical landmarks. This software caters landmarking facility with manual and automatic options. For automatic landmarking we are using various filters, image enhancement techniques, pattern recognition (template matching), curve plotting on image etc. For manually landmarking we are providing various enhancement properties like brightness, contrast, negative image etc. It is frequently used by dentists, often orthodontists in particular, as a treatment planning tool.
Responsibilities and Contribution :
