1. Study of dynamics and control of Non-linear processes.
Duration : 2009-2010
Project Description: Develops mathematical modeling of quadruple tank process and pH neutralization process. Using matlab/simulink software finds out steady-state and unsteady-state response of processes. Apply Model Predictive Controller and self tuning PID controller to above processes. Compare the behavior of controllers by giving different inputs like step, sinusoidal and random to above processes.
2. Mini-Project: Mechanism of Pulse Drying
Duration : 2008-2009
Project Description: The experiment was carried out in both continuous and pulsating manner by varying temperature of heating medium and pulse duration to demonstrate the technique. Experiments were carried out using card-board and then the same was continued for green peas (Pisum sativum). It was seen from the experiments that 10s pulse & 15s pulse show better drying.
3. Experimental study of rice husk and sand mixture in bubbling fluidized bed.
Duration : 2007-2008
Project Description: The fluidization of different mixtures of biomass and sand were studied. In the fluidized bed column different types of rice husk and sand mixture are used and find out the minimum fluidization velocities and superficial velocity of air.
