Site Engineer With Quantity Survey Experience

Job Description
1. Site engineers work as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization, including liasoning with contractors & sub-contractors.
2. Should be able to prepare early stage budgets and detailed cost plans
3. Should be able to prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
4. Should be able to prepare and analyze costing for tenders.
5. Should be able to negotiate to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
6. Should be able to supervise material and human resources in terms of quality & quantity.
7. Should be able to perform a technical, organizational and supervisory role on civil / construction projects as well interior fit â out projects.
8. Should be responsible for marking out the site both civil / construction as well as interior fit â out projects.
9. Should be able to work as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization
10. Should be able to supervise of material and human resources in terms of quality & quantity.
11. Should be able to set out (marking the position of structures & interior works / partitions) and leveling the site.
12. Should be able to check drawings and estimate quantities and ensure that the calculations are accurate for the work.
13. Should be able to agree a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
14. Should be able to plan the work and efficiently organize the plant / equipments and other related site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
15. Should be able to liaise with any clients & their representatives, consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
16. Should be able to do day-to-day management of the site, including supervising the progress at site and monitoring the site labour force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors.
17. Should be able to write detailed reports.
18. Should be able to oversee quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
19. Should be able to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise at site.
20. Should be able to value completed work and certifying running payments of the vendors.
