PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from Dr. MV Shetty College of speech and hearing, Mangalore, India.

SKILLS IN SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY
Ability to carry out appropriate assessment procedures and treatment
programs for the following speech and language disorders;

SPEECH DISORDERS
Misarticulation, Stuttering, Cluttering, Cerebral palsy, Cleft lip and palate, Dysarthria, Apraxia.

SKILLS IN AUDIOLOGY
Competent knowledge in identifying the nature and degree of hearing loss in
Patients of all ages by performing;
> Pure tone audiometry
> Speech audiometry
> Immittance test battery
> Behavioral observation audiometry (BOA) * Excellent knowledge in assessing the integrity of auditory system by performing
>Auditory evoked potentials (AEP’s)

* Expertise in differentiating cochlear and retrocochlear pathologies by doing
special tests (SISI, TDT, ABLB, STAT)

* Good skill in Oto acoustic emission testing (OAE)

* Ability in identifying Pseudohypacusis

* Capable in counseling the patients with hearing loss regarding the
selection, advantages, limitations and maintenance of hearing aids.

*Analysing the electro acoustic characteristics of hearing aids (EAC)
