Job Description:
- Member of the Corporate SCM team and communicate the decisions across SCM team effectively.
- Member of the SCM team in design and development of procurement strategy.
- Member of the SCM team in implementing the procurement strategy approved by GM - SCM.
- Responsible for cost effective procurement and ensure timely supply of raw materials and other consumables.
- Ensure smooth supply of input materials for all the organizational requirement.
- Interact closely with all the internal customers.
- Implement the annual procurement plan. Integrate the procurement plan with the placement of birds.
- Based on the business plan, fix KRA's for the next reporting officers / staffs in the department.
- To reduce the input cost.
- Freeze inventory norms.
- Design procurement strategies well before the commencement of financial year.
- Identification of procurement centre for input items.
- Product standardization across the company.
- To design a process for vendor identification and development and periodical review of the same.
- To identify alternative vendors for the feed materials / vaccines / medicines etc.,
- Developing the next level officers to take up higher responsibilities.
- Training & development.
- Ensure timely availability of material and release of vendor payment.
- Introducing innovative initiatives in SCM.
- Submission periodical reports on MIS- SCM.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Graduate / post graduate with MBA from reputed institution.
- 5+ years of Managerial experience in SCM department in a multi location Pharmaceutical organization.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to handle high volume transactions.
- In addition to English, Hindi language would be added advantage
