Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Accessory Designer to be part of a growing team within ‘TENT’. A keen interest in fashion and accessories is necessary, reacting to new trends and developing an exciting but commercial range of fashion Jewelry that maintains the ‘TENT’ unique identity in the current off the rack market.

Communication is key in this role, working closely with craftsmen and suppliers to ensure all areas of product development are covered.

Job Activities Include:
• Design and develop both innovative and commercial product ranges that are directed at Tent’s broad market appeal. Identify commercially viable products in order to maximize business performance.
• Maintain and raise the level of in-house designed products that are unique to the brand.
• Forecasting trends, developing inspiration boards and design direction for each season, maintaining Tent’s identity.
• Reacting to general trends in the Jewelry industry as well as key fashion trends, visiting local shops to check on the competition.
• Responsible for all aspects of design development working to a critical path, achieving specific deadlines.
• Carry out and manage all sampling for buyers.
• Frequent visits to local markets to check for new components and parts.
• Identifying and developing a premium range of Jewelry that answers the customers need for ‘something different’
• Working closely as part of the TENT design team to produce a range that sits with all other product areas in TENT.
• Maintaining the Jewelry Design department and heading the Jewelry design team.
• Work to high standards and achieve targets, taking all actions necessary to ensure excellence and quality is achieved and to do so in complicated circumstances
• Anticipating future needs and opportunities, thinking imaginatively to generate solutions/ ideas of benefit and grow the business.

Desired Candidate Profile:
• Must have excellent color and textile flare
• Minimum 2 years working in Industry
• Passionate and excited by Jewelry and accessories
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and briefs
• Organized and self-motivated
• Basic Computer & Computer Design knowledge
• Good communicator
