Job Description:
We are seeking for a highly qualified and experienced candidate to manage our Translation Service.
The Manager will be responsible for defining the translation and localization process, securing internal and external resources, coordinating schedules and deliverables with development, producers, QA, translation vendor, managing cost, and managing the execution and delivery of high quality products.
The main responsibility of the Manager is to manage and modernize the translation process, in particular in relation to the development and use of CAT tools, with a view to ensuring that the Service produces high-quality technical translations cost effectively.
The Manager will manage all the facets of the translation business and will be responsible for growing the business. The manager will have all the authority & responsibility to manage the division and make decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum Job Qualifications
5+ years of experience with technology products and translation/localization project management
Solid knowledge of internationalization of software products
Familiarity with Translation Memory and Localization Tools
BA/BS in technical field or equivalent work experience required
Basic knowledge of standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and accessibility requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, text-editors, and enterprise web applications
Excellent track record in delivering global products and understanding of internationalization and localization issues
Culturally sensitive attitude and the ability of building strong relationships with different regions
Ability to perform under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to make decisions and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrable skills in leadership, communication (written and presentation), and matrix management. Candidates must be high energy individuals with determination, integrity, and a belief in the pursuit of excellence
Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and in speaking

Preferable Job Qualifications
Fluency in one or more non-English languages
A good understanding of the latest web technologies and trends. Such as the concept and technologies behind the popular Web 2.0 products
Familiarity with Translation Memory and Localization Tools
Experience working in foreign markets and/or living abroad is a plus
Action-oriented, independent, self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines;
