Projects Accomplished :
Process Development & Characterization of IL1RA
This protein is developed in periplasmic space of E Coli. Chief strategy was protein extraction without total disruption of cell which would have further complicated the purification procedure. Purification process developed is one of the shortest and most economical processes . Purification process included extraction, ion-exchange chromatography, hydrophobic interaction chromatography followed by final concentration by TFF. Process development and optimization is complete.
Process Development & Characterization of Recombinant Interfreon beta 1a
Current status Product has been recently launched in market by the brand name Relibeta.
Protein was expressed extracellularly in CHO cells. Purification process included affinity chromatography, gel filtration chromatography and ion exchange chromatography. Extensive characterization have been done using various biophysical techniques.
Down stream processing and Characterization of various Monoclonal Antibodies
Current status Process has been optimized for pilot scale production
Devised strategic Platform Process for manufacturing of Biosimilar Monoclonal Antibodies (mAbs) to ease technical difficulties in scale-up works.
Characterization was done employing peptide map analysis, host cell protein analysis, Protein A leaching estimation, Bioactivity analysis for these proteins
Process Development & Characterization of Various Glycosylated proteins
Some proteins exists in the form of many glycoisoforms and therefore purification of such proteins become a challenge. The protein has been purified using different chromatographies. Process development has been successfully accomplished with all characterization done including Sialic acid estimation, Glycan analysis, Molecular weight determination, IEF gels and Peptide map analysis.
Techniques Known :
Chromatographic Technique :
Reverse Phase Chromatography, Hydrophobic interaction chromatography, Gel Filtration, Ion exchange Chromatography, Affinity chromatography.
