Job Description:
** Accounts/ Taxation
** Maintaining books of accounts and finalizing year-end statements in compliance with accounting standards.
** Monitoring the status of debtor balances and following up with them for payment recovery.
** Determining the accounts payable position for making timely payments to creditors.
** Preparing asset registers and making proper adjustments with respect to depreciation.
** Passing purchase bills for payment after proper scrutiny.
** Ensuring timely filing of returns such as TDS/ Sales/ Excise Tax as per the relevant Acts & in MIS/ Coordination
** Generating financial performance/ MIS reports for purpose of submission to top management for strategic decision making.
** Networking with various branches for determining positions in terms of collections, deposits, cheques & post disbursement documents.
** Informing the sales team about pre-set sales budgets and determining variances if any.
** Interffacing with Tax Auditors/ regulatory
Desired Candidate Profile:
** A competent and result oriented professional with nearly 2to 6 years of rich and insightful experience in Accounts and Financial Operations, inclusive of Taxes, Audits, Statutory Compliance and Systems Implementation.
** In-depth understanding of all phases of business and financial activity with diversified skill set and ability.
** Skilled in designing and implementing systems & procedures; supervising the consolidation of group accounts and preparation of financial statements & annual reports.
** Efficient in supervising the preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, viz. fund management, credit control, profitability, etc.
** Ability in accounting concepts with an in depth knowledge of Finance & Accounts, Audits, Personnel management, contract & Project Management.
** Deftness in enhancing financial processes and systems, reviewing complex financial data to facilitate strategic financial growth of organisations.
** Proficiency in implementing Financial Procedures as well as maintenance & finalization of accounts as per statutory requirements of different accounts.
** Demonstrated abilities in preparing & executing the budgetary controls for Administration related activities.
** Excellent communication skills with a high sense of motivation, concentration and determination.
** An out of the box thinker having excellent numerative abilities.
** Financial Planning & Management
** Assisting in finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial controls.
** Formulating need-based business strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation & realize organizational goals.
** Developing and maintaining adequate internal control system, preparing annual and periodic financial results, submitting them to the management for review and control the finances.
** Calculating of periodical Depreciation & preparations of Fixed Assets Register.
Finance/Accounts
** Implementing systems, procedures & manuals for preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts (Cash Flow Statements, Compliances Reports, etc) and financial statements, ensuring compliance with time & accuracy norms; handling Supplementary Budget Requirements .
** Analyzing existing accounting procedures / systems and restructuring them to attain optimum efficiency levels.
** Handling Debtors & Creditors for decision making, reviewing & analysing Bank Accounts & MIS reports relating to Banking & Finance.
** Designing and implementing accounting systems & procedures; supervising the timely preparation of statutory books of accounts and finalisation & consolidation of group accounts.
** Analysing proposals for business partnerships and rendering appropriate advises in order to maximise the attainment of organisational objectives.
** Overseeing details of overtime paid to employees for the month as well as of sales commission/incentives/bonus given to employees during the month
** Handling details of inter company transactions for the month and Year to date with P&L and balance sheet as confirmed by the other party also for both transactions recorded and not recorded in the books.
** Preparing costing of individual products to arrive at contribution & performing Variance Analysis with respect of usage and price.
** Formulating pricing policies aimed at market penetration, Effectively using management accounting principles.
Auditing
** Managing complete planning and management activities for ensuring completion of Internal, Statutory and Tax audits within time and cost budgets.
** Evaluating and preparing audit reports with a view to highlight shortcomings and implement necessary recommendations.
** Coordinating internal, statutory and tax audits; evaluating internal control systems / procedures to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.
MIS
** Flash reports giving sales, total expenses, manpower, cash and bank balance.
** Executing preparation of Income statements & Balance sheet with details.
** detailed reports developed/maintained include:
** Sales by customer, category, region, etc. tying up to the income statement.
